Parent Programs

  • Fall (August-October)

     

    Annual Title I Parent Meeting- Parents discuss the Title I program including programs and resources provided through Title I funds.

     

    Back to School Night- Teachers provide parents and families an orientation of instructional programs including grade-level academic requirements.

     

    Coffee with the Principal- Parents meet with the principal to ask questions and discuss any concerns regarding the school programs.

     

    Family Night- Families participate in instructional activities in reading, math, and science.

     

    Parent Teacher Conferences- Parents attend conferences with their child’s teacher to discuss academic progress.

      

    100 Mile Club (twice a week)-Students, staff, and parents participate in physical fitness based on the goal of running (or walking) 100 miles at school during a single school year.

     

  • Winter (November-February)

     

    Coffee with the Principal- Parents meet with the principal to ask questions and discuss any concerns regarding the school programs.

     

    Family Night- Families participate in instructional activities in reading, math, and science.

     

    Parent Involvement Week- Parents volunteer in classrooms to support learning activities.

  • Spring (March-May)

     

    TK/Kinder Camp- Teachers lead parents and students in activities to prepare students for TK/Kindergarten.

     

    Coffee with the Principal- Parents meet with the principal to ask questions and discuss any concerns regarding the school programs.

     

    Family Night- Families participate in instructional activities in reading, math, and science.

     

    Open House- Parents and families visit their child’s classroom to celebrate work completed during the school year.
