Hello parents and families,
Welcome to our google classroom! I'm so happy to be your child's teacher this year! 1st grade will be a fun, exciting, and challenging grade. Your child will be learning how to read and so much more! We are going to have a great year! In this google classroom, I will have the yearly syllabus posted, daily/weekly assignments, the daily schedule, homework assignments, and daily/weekly announcements. Live teaching will be through ZOOM, so I will post a daily meeting i.d. and passcode very soon. You will need to download the zoom.us app and make an account for your child. Please check under classwork/materials for the syllabus, daily schedule, and office hours. I am also in the process of creating my own google website for our classroom. It will include links to everything we are using include: google classroom, zoom, class dojo, clever (iready and Moby Max), etc. I know learning virtually is a learning experience and can be challenging, but we will all make the best of it. I'm always here to help and support you all. I look forward to a fantastic year, and I look forward to meeting all of my wonderful students! Ms. Mirza
