Dear Norte Vista Families,

I am excited about working with your students and our staff in the upcoming school year.  This year, I will supervise our Freshman class, the Math Department, CTE Department, and the custodial department.  I will oversee our facilities, testing, the PBIS program, and help our admin team with other significant school-wide improvements. 

This is my 14^th year in public education.  The majority of my career in education I spent at Fontana Unified School District.  I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Cal State LA, then my 2 credentials, 2 master’s degrees, and my doctoral degree from the University of La Verne.  I come to Alvord with lots of experience and knowledge in serving students to help prepare them for the future. 

On a more personal note, I have been married for 18 years, have 2 children (14 years of age and 11 years of age), and a dog named Mango.  

I look forward to getting to know our students on an individual basis to help them successfully finish their high school years to move on to college, careers, and the military, if they choose.
