I was born in the town of Londrina, in the southern part of Brazil.
I have a background in Advertising Design, Art History, and a Masters in Arts Education.
I started teaching art to children while living in Germany, in the late 90's and haven't stopped since then.
I live nearby, in the town of Ramsey, with my wife and two children. My son is a college junior and my daughter is an assistant teacher in France. I also have Chica, a cute little dog.
Like the German artist Josef Beuys, I believe that "everybody is an artist" and that my work as a teacher in Hillside is to help children discover their own inner artists by exposing them to great art and different media.
