The Borough of Allendale is a Community of approximately 6,700 residents. Hillside Elementary School (Pre-K to Grade 3) and Brookside Middle School (Grades 4-8) provide exciting learning opportunities for discovery and academic challenges for our nearly 1,000 students. The District is proud of our talented students, history and tradition, supportive Board of Education, highly qualified administration and staff, wonderful facilities and helpful parents.
We have a well-earned reputation for excellence and we are proud of our staff members, all of whom provide lifelong learning for our students. Well-known for our spirit of collaboration, both schools enjoy the tireless support of our PTO and the Allendale Foundation for Educational Excellence (AFEE).
An ancient proverb once stated “If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.” In Allendale, we focus on a lifetime of success for our students.
