Mr. Martin earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Tech University.  He also earned an MS degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, which included development of a digital simulation of the Integrated Assembly and Checkout portion of the Boeing (now ULA) rocket factory in Decatur, AL.  He was the industrial engineer for the 2nd stage assembly and test area for 4 years upon plant startup.  He also has 25+ years of engineering experience at Boeing on multiple space and defense projects in various phases of the engineering life cycle including: requirements development/decomposition/allocation, systems development, systems integration, systems simulation, systems test/requirements verification, and systems ground/flight operations.  He is an INCOSE (International Council On Systems Engineering) Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP).

 

Mr. Martin recently retired from Boeing to join the ASCTE team in investing in the next generation of children in Alabama.  He and wife Marlee have 2 grown children and have been residents of Madison AL for over 30 years.
