The ASCTE Foundation's mission is to foster and facilitate a healthy ecosystem between federal/state/local/ academia/industry for the longevity/sustainability of the Alabama School of Cyber Technology & Engineering (ASCTE) to empower the next generation's cyber, technology, and engineering workforce.
The ASCTE Foundation's vision is to be a well-structured, trusted non-profit organization that raises awareness, advocacy, and funds to create equitable opportunities for education that enable the cyber technology and engineering workforce.

Alicia Ryan
Foundation Board President
Alicia Ryan is chief executive officer of LSINC Corporation. For more than 25 years, she has consulted with senior executive leaders at federal agencies and Fortune 100 companies throughout the U.S. and abroad. She serves as the Vice Chair of the board and President of the Foundation.

Van Sullivan
VP/Building/Governance
Van Sullivan is the CEO of Trideum Corporation and the Vice President of the Foundation Board. Alongside his professional duties, he oversees construction and governance for the board.

Dr. Claudette Owens
Secretary/Nominating Committee Chair
Dr. Claudette Owens serves as Secretary of the Foundation Board and is the chair of its nominating committee. With over 33 years of experience as an Army civilian engineer, she brings with her an extensive background of engineering and cybersecurity expertise.

John Jeffery
Treasurer/Finance Committee Chair
John Jeffery serves as the Treasurer of the Foundation and chairs its finance committee. A financial advisor and Vice President at Morgan Stanley, he brings with him almost 20 years of fiduciary experience to help develop ASCTE.

James Bullington
Engineering Committee Chair
James Bullington serves as the Chair of the Foundation’s Engineering Committee and as Chief Technology Officer for LSINC. Mr. Bullington, who holds nineteen patents, is a Professional Engineer with a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Ronnie Chronister
Advisory Committee Chair
Ronnie Chronister serves as Chair of the Foundation’s Advisory Committee and as the senior VP of Weapons Technology and Manufacturing for the Dynetics Group where he is responsible for providing strategic and day-to-day oversight of weapon modernization and national defense programs.

Dr. Joe Green
Development Committee Chair
Dr. Joe Green serves as the Chair of the Foundation’s Development Committee and as President and CEO of Cognetix. With decades of cybersecurity and engineering experience, he works to lead ASCTE forward.

Ginger Harper
Marketing Committee Chair
Ginger Harper serves as the Chair of the Foundation’s Marketing Committee and as Senior Vice President, private banking and retail market manager for First Horizon Bank. She is a member of the board for a number of community organizations and was named one of 2017’s Women Who Shaped the State.

Joe Ritch
At Large Member
Joe Ritch serves as a member at large of the Foundation and has an extensive history of working to better Alabama. Mr. Ritch was the first TVA board member from Alabama, advocated to bring hundreds of jobs to Redstone Arsenal, and was recently inducted into the Alabama Business Hall of Fame.

Dr. Kay Taylor
At Large Member
Dr. Kay Taylor serves as a member at large of the Foundation and as Director of Education at the US Space and Rocket Center, supporting STEM education through community outreach and education programs. Alongside these duties, she is a member of the prestigious Alabama Stem Council.
PeggyLee Wright, ASCTE Foundation Executive Director

PeggyLee Wright is a former US Army UH-60 Blackhawk pilot, having served at the 82d Airborne Division, Honduras Central America, and Fort Lee, Virginia. Following her military career, PeggyLee used her experience in DoD, logistics, leadership management, behavior analysis, and education to create a new approach to business development, ultimately establishing THE
COMPANY in 2019.THE COMPANY is a Woman Owned, Veteran Owned business consulting firm. THE COMPANY harnesses the true power of Huntsville's synergy across government, industry, academia, non-profit, and military enterprises to create measurable impacts for all involved.
Within Industry, THE COMPANY’s clients include both large and small businesses across Department of Defense and Commercial enterprises, within Alabama and the D.C. area.
For Education, THE COMPANY is leading the development efforts in support of the Alabama School of Cyber Technology & Engineering (ASCTE), America's only high school focused on cyber resiliency in the engineering lifecycle.
Most importantly to PeggyLee, she is active in several non-profits within the Huntsville community. She is on the Boards for Huntsville Police Citizens Foundation, YMCA Health Establishments At Local Schools (H.E.A.L.S.), and Huntsville SOF (Special Operations Forces) Network.Mother of 4 incredible kiddos, PeggyLee has been with her husband, TJ Wright, for 28 years.
