Fundraiser Alert!!!

Diboll Primary is having a spare change fundraising drive from October 24th until November 11th to raise money for our Student Activity Fund. These funds are used throughout the year to provide fun, learning opportunities for our students. We are asking for your participation by donating your spare change to help us reach our fundraising goal! Each class will receive a jug to fill so start looking under your couch cushions and in old wallets because the class that raises the most money will win a chalk & bubbles party! Thank you for your support in helping us raise funds for our students!

National Child Identification Program

The National Child Identification Program is a community service initiative dedicated to reducing the number of missing children by providing parents and guardians with a tool they can use to help protect their children. The ID Kit allows parents to collect specific information by easily recording the physical characteristics and fingerprints of their children on identification cards that are then kept at home by the parent or guardian. If ever needed, this ID Kit will give authorities vital information to assist their efforts to locate a missing child. In 2021, the Texas Legislature passed SB 2158, which provides every child in grades K-8 an inkless child identification fingerprint DNA card.

Your child will be bringing home the in-home child identification kit on behalf of the State of Texas. The kit will allow you to have a set of fingerprints and DNA for your child in case of an emergency that you can turn over to law enforcement. Please understand that there is no obligation to fill out the kit. These kits are to be stored at home and only to be given to law enforcement in case of an emergency. Please make use of this gift, fill it out and store it in a safe place at home.
