The Windsor Central School District Board of Education will soon have a Student Representative to provide feedback on how Board decisions affect students.
Rising Windsor Central High School senior Grace Reed will fill that role after winning a student election for the position. She sees this opportunity as a chance to make a big impact on the school.
“I am already very involved in my school. Student council, I like to do things for my peers, do activities to make them happy,” said Reed.
Reed won’t have a vote on the Board but plans to be active in giving her input on topics that affect students. Reed wants to become a school social worker and may run for School Board in the future.
“If I enjoy it as a student, I would be open to it in the future because I do like to make a positive impact on people,” said Reed.
