The New York State Education Department has released updated dates for this year’s state assessments. Students across the state will participate in standardized testing over the coming weeks.

The English Language Arts (ELA) exams are scheduled for April 29 and April 30. Fifth-grade students will take the Science assessment on May 8. Math exams for all tested grades will take place on May 13 and May 14.

Schools are advising families to ensure students are well-rested and present on these key dates to support successful participation.
