Weedsport defeated Port Byron to win the Cayuga County Field Hockey tournament in late August. In the semifinals, the team beat Auburn 5-0. Last year, the team finished with a 10-4-2 overall record en route to an OHSL league championship.
The Weedsport Central School District recently welcomed Nancy Hares as its new transportation supervisor. She takes over for the retiring Carol Hawk. The Weedsport Central School District was recently informed by Pearson Clinical Assessment (Pearson) that a data security incident occurred which involved the unauthorized access of personally identifiable information about Weedsport students.
