Link to WHS Virtual Program of Studies
Dear 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students and families,
We know that many things have changed over the past month and we appreciate your adaptability and willingness to engage with us virtually along the way. As you may recall, our Program of Studies Night was canceled due to the school closure. Watertown High School has a rich, extensive course catalog that provides exciting opportunities for our students to learn, engage in new and exciting coursework, and challenge themselves. While we could not provide this opportunity to you in real-time, we wanted to be sure you had the chance to explore the exciting course offerings WHS has available to students.
Our new, virtual Program of Studies Night begins NOW! By visiting this site: Link to WHS Virtual Program of Studies, you will be able to hear from the curriculum coordinators across disciplines and learn about the courses available to students from 9th through 12th grade. These videos can be accessed at any time and we do hope that you explore them all. We are proud of the opportunities available to our students and are excited to share them with you.
In addition to these videos, the coordinators will be available for virtual office hours on Monday, May 4 from 7:30-8:15PM. Each coordinator has a zoom link (found on the website). Feel free to "stop in" to these office hours to ask clarifying questions or follow up on something you saw in the video. We will use the "Waiting Room" function, so each attendee will be admitted one at a time over the course of the evening. If you have a lengthier question or are unable to attend these virtual office hours, we have provided the email addresses for coordinators and we encourage you to reach out to them.
We hope you enjoy our Virtual Program of Studies Night and are reminded of Watertown High School's incredible opportunities.
Stay well!
