Earth Day Planet Earth Hunt!

What:

Inspired by the recent town-wide bear, shamrock, and egg hunts we’re looking for the Watertown community to participate in a town-wide Planet Earth Hunt in honor of Earth Day! As folks get out and take walks in their neighborhoods they can check out their neighbors’ windows, doors, and/or yards from afar and see how many planet earth creations they can spot!

How to participate:
Draw or craft the planet earth and display it in your window for all to see. You can take it a step further by posting a fact about our planet earth or something your household does to help protect our planet such as recycling, composting, etc.
Let us know you’re participating so we can add your house to our map!
Click here to send us your address and we’ll add your house to our Planet Earth Hunt Map

When:
Earth Day is officially celebrated on Wednesday, April 22nd
In order to encourage social distancing and space out opportunities for families to walk around town and look for planet earth displays, we ask that you put your planet earth display up beginning Wednesday, April 22nd and leave it up through Sunday, April 26th
