The third graders took a trip into the past when they visited Plimoth Plantation. Visiting the Wampanoag and English villages at Plimoth Plantation allowed students to be immersed in history. Students had a wonderful time being able to see, smell and hear the surroundings which help them connect to the history we are learning about in the classroom. Students are now able to envision the space where the Wampanoag and Pilgrims first met as they learn about the celebration of the Pilgrim’s first successful harvest - the first Thanksgiving!
