Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment

The Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Department is responsible for the development and maintenance of curriculum throughout the School District of Washington, including research, implementation of new programming, professional development, educational alignment tools, as well as many of the intervention programs and assessment tools used by our district.

Curriculum Review Committee

The School District of Washington curriculum department would love your input. Please consider joining our curriculum review committee. This committee would meet once or twice this spring, based on need. We will review our curriculum process, seek feedback on changes to curriculum that is going to the Board for approval and offer valuable input. These meetings will take place in the evening. Meetings will begin in April. Please fill out this survey if you would like to join this committee. (Please submit by March 15, 2024)
