Veterans Day ProgramsWith Veterans Day on Saturday, November 11, buildings in the School District of Washington have scheduled Veterans Day programs.

Washington High School

Washington High School’s annual Veterans Day Assembly will be on Friday, November 10, at 8:30 a.m. in the Blue Jay Gymnasium.

The featured speaker will be WHS NJROTC instructor Senior Chief Nathan Hernandez, retired United States Navy.

Breakfast will be served for all Veterans from 7:15-8:15 a.m. in the band room (Northington Lobby Entrance). RSVP to Michelle at 636-231-2200 is appreciated, but not required.


Washington Middle School

Washington Middle School is having “Coffee Talk With Veterans.” Students are inviting Veterans to have donuts and coffee with them on Wednesday, November 8, from 9-10 a.m. Students will work on their interpersonal skills by visiting with the Veterans and asking questions about their service.

November 8 – South Point Elementary – 8 a.m., Breakfast for Veterans at 7:15 a.m.

November 8 – Washington Middle School – Coffee Talk With Veterans, 9-10 a.m.

November 9 – Clearview Elementary – 8 a.m. Breakfast for Veterans at 7:20 a.m.

November 10 – Labadie Elementary – 8:30 a.m., Breakfast for Veterans at 7:30 a.m.

November 10 – Campbellton Elementary – 8 a.m., Breakfast available for Veterans.

November 10 – Washington High School – 8:30 a.m., Breakfast for Veterans at 7:15 a.m.

November 10 – Marthasville Elementary – 9 a.m.

November 10 – Washington West Elementary – 1 p.m.
