South Point Elementary held its Jump Rope for Heart/Kids Heart Challenge recognition assembly on Friday, April 5.
Students were recognized for their achievement in the Jump Rope for Heart program and special recognition was given to Evan Frankenberg, Tyler Francis and Nathan Francis, who raised the most money.
Frankenberg, a kindergarten student, raised $735. Tyler Francis, a third-grade student, raised $729. Nathan Francis, a first-grade student, raised $704. The three students received a gift basket for their efforts.
There were approximately 70 South Point Elementary students who raised $15 or more.
A total of $7,238.50 was raised by South Point Elementary for Jump Rope for Heart – American Heart Association.
On hand for the assembly was Jen Rogers from the American Heart Association.
