South Point Elementary School held an assembly on Friday, Feb. 2, to kick off the Jump Rope for Heart/Kids Heart Challenge program.
Money raised helps benefit the American Heart Association.
Some South Point teachers jumped rope to get the students excited and inspired to do the same, which helps raise money.
Last year, South Point Elementary raised $8,020.
