Washington High School wrestler Kendra Bliss is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week, sponsored by First State Community Bank.
Bliss, a junior returning state qualifier, entered the week with a 13-0 record, including two tournament titles. She won the 125-pound title at the Union Tournament on Friday, December 9, pinning all three of her opponents.
“Kendra is a second-year captain who is off to a great start to the season,” said Washington Wrestling Coach Josh Ohm. “She’s a leader on the team on and off the mat.”
