Students at Augusta Elementary School took part in a manners lunch on Monday, Nov. 19.
Dressed nicely and with the atmosphere in the Augusta Elementary cafeteria featuring dimmed lighting with light music playing in the background. The students practiced proper table etiquette while enjoying their turkey lunch with all of the fixings.
Members of the Augusta Elementary orchestra also performed.
The Augusta Elementary students have been in the process of learning proper table etiquette over the last several days leading up to the manners lunch.
A group of Augusta Elementary girls seated the students and served the lunch. Students were not allowed to begin eating until everyone at the table was served.
Augusta Elementary Principal Mary Robertson and staff member Jodi Howell performed a skit on what to do and what not to do while at the dinner table.
