With Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 11, buildings in the School District of Washington have scheduled Veterans Day programs.
Washington High School
Washington High School’s annual Veterans Day Assembly will be Monday, Nov. 11, at 8:30 a.m. in the Blue Jay Gymnasium.
The featured speaker will be Denzel “Denny” Garner, Captain, US Navy Retired and President of MOAA (Military Officers Association of America) Greater St. Louis Chapter.
There will be a reception for all Veterans and their families beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the band room (Northington Lobby Entrance). Breakfast will be served.

Washington Middle School
Washington Middle School will host its Veterans Day Assembly on Friday, Nov. 8.
The program will begin at 9 a.m. and last approximately 45 minutes. The program will honor all Veterans who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces or Reserves.
Refreshments will be served for Veterans before and after the assembly.

Nov. 8: South Point Elementary; Breakfast for Veterans at 7:30 a.m. The program begins at 8:15 a.m.
Nov. 8: Labadie Elementary; Breakfast for Veterans at 8 a.m. The program begins at 8:30 a.m.
Nov. 11: Campbellton Elementary; Breakfast for Veterans at 7:30 a.m. The program begins at 8 a.m.
Nov. 11: Washington West Elementary; the program begins at 6:30 p.m.
Nov. 12: Marthasville Elementary; Breakfast for Veterans at 7 a.m. The program begins at 8 a.m.
