The School District of Washington’s Leadership Retreat took place on Monday and Tuesday, June 14 and 15, at the CAPS Confluence Room at Four Rivers Career Center.
Incoming Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Kephart led the retreat of administrators from the SDOW. The retreat featured two days of connecting, vision casting and fun. The theme of the retreat was “The World Awaits, Let’s Chart Our Course.”
On the afternoon of June 15, the SDOW leadership group had a lunch and learn at the Washington Chamber of Commerce office, where city officials and chamber staff met with the group.
Following that, the administration team took a tour of Downtown Washington, which was given by current CAPS students Amber Christeson, Layna Farrell and Natalie Avalos, along with Washington High School graduate Olivia Robinson, who is working for the Chamber this summer.
