Augusta Elementary School held a Santa’s Workshop for all students, grades K-6, on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 10 and 11.
Putting their arts and crafts skills to work, the students took turns visiting Santa’s Workshop over the two days, creating holiday ornaments.
Santa's Workshop is held every year at Augusta Elementary. The students make an ornament for their parents or someone who is special in their lives.
“Each student takes pride in creating their ornament. These crafts are cherished by whoever is lucky enough to receive one,” said Augusta Elementary Principal Dr. Mary Robertson. “We want our students to experience the joy of giving a gift during this holiday season. The PTO supplies the craft materials and parent volunteers help the students assemble and create their ornaments.”
