Filip Zajicek Named Mr. WHS; Proceeds Benefit Jordan Scheer Memorial Children's Relay for Life
The Washington High School Student Council and Leadership hosted the 27th Annual Mr. WHS contest on Friday, March 10, in the CJB Auditorium at Washington High School.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Jordan Scheer Memorial Children’s Relay for Life. This year’s event raised approximately $2,000.
Contestants participated in different competitions as well as performed dances for the judges and audience.
Filip Zajicek, a foreign exchange student from the Czech Republic, was named Mr. WHS.
First runner-up was Brock Thompson. Second Runner-Up was Matthew Freitag. Mr. Congeniality was Isaac Burr.
The other Mr. WHS contestants were Kellen Schiermeier, Jack Trentmann, Austin Gober, Brody Mitchem, Dylan Loepker and Hunter Sederwall.
The Program Chairs of the event were Maddie Grimes, Isabella Fitzgerald, Brooke Holtmeyer and Jillian Huellinghoff.
The judges were WHS graduates Alexa Bell, Emma Jones and Kamryn Mitchell.
