Four Rivers Career Center Students Volunteer at Riverfront Trail Day

The Washington Rotary Club and the Washington Parks and Recreation Department hosted their 16th Annual Riverfront Trail Day on Thursday, September 21.

Senior citizens and physically disabled community members participated in the event, which included tours of the riverfront trail, bingo and lunch.

Four Rivers Career Center high school students helped with the event. They helped serve lunch at the Fairgrounds and assisted with any needs of the participants. Students from every program at the Career Center were involved.

Additionally, LPN (Washington School of Practical Nursing) students assisted with transporting residents to and from Grandview Healthcare Center. They also helped with lunch and general volunteer work.
