Observing Red Ribbon Week, a national campaign focusing on drug awareness, Labadie Elementary School held an assembly on Monday, Oct. 21.
Buildings throughout the School District of Washington are recognizing Red Ribbon Week.
Labadie Elementary students heard from guest speakers about the importance of saying no to drugs.
Speaking at the assembly were:
Eric Dobelmann, Washington Pollice Officer who also was representing the Washington Elks (sponsoring Red Ribbon Week).
Deputy James O’Fallon from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
Jodi Terschluse and Matt Boggess from the Meramec Ambulance District.
Washington High School soccer coach Brian Dougherty and players Ethan Beers, Carter Kleekamp, Trent Pabst and Gage Rombach.
