The Pride of Washington Places First in Prelims, Third Overall at River City Showcase

River City ShowcaseWashington High School’s marching band, “The Pride of Washington,” competed at the River City Showcase, hosted by Ft. Zumwalt North High School, on Saturday, October 8.

Washington recorded a first-place finish in the Class 5 preliminaries and swept all of the captains; outstanding music, outstanding visual and outstanding general effect.

In the finals, The Pride of Washington registered a third-place finish overall behind Lindbergh and O’Fallon Township, which included first place in a sub caption.

Stewart Alloway is the Director of Bands at Washington High School. Jacob Bisaillon is Assistant Director of Bands/Director of Percussion. Madeline Watts is Assistant Director of Bands/ Director of Bands at Washington Middle School.
