Parent-teacher conferences in the School District of Washington are scheduled for Thursday, October 28. There will be no school for students on that day due to staff professional development in the morning followed by parent-teacher conferences in the afternoon and evening.
There will be no school for students and staff on Friday, October 29.
The procedures for the parent-teacher conferences are as follows:
Elementary schools: Parent-teacher conferences will take place at their respective schools from 1-7 p.m. Parents must make an appointment with their child’s teacher. If you haven’t made an appointment, please contact your child’s teacher.
Washington Middle School: Parent-teacher conferences will take place at the middle school from 2-6:30 p.m. Each team has sent or will send an e-mail to parents and guardians for an appointment time. Appointment times are scheduled for 15 minutes per meeting.
Washington High School: Parent-teacher conferences at the high school will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m. via zoom by appointment for parents who prefer that option. From 3:30-6:30 p.m., the conferences will be in person. Parents may drop in to see teachers in their classrooms or can schedule appointments. From 6:30-7 p.m., the second round of zoom conferences will take place by appointment.
Four Rivers Career Center: Parent-teacher conferences will take place at the Four Rivers Career Center from 4-7 p.m. Teachers will be in their respective classrooms ready to meet with parents. Appointments are not necessary. The building also will be open during that time for tours for anyone interested in attending.
Early Learning Center: Parent-teacher conferences will take place at the Early Learning Center from 1-7 p.m. Parents must make an appointment with their child’s teacher.
