Officers from the Washington Police Department, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, and the Union Fire Protection District were on hand to greet Clearview Elementary students as they arrived to school on Thursday morning, Sept. 20.
The officers opened a few car doors for the students and gave them all hand-shakes and high-fives as they entered the building to start their day.
Clearview Elementary Principal Dr. Matt Busekrus also was on hand to welcome the students to school.
