Brian Biggs, children’s book author and illustrator, visited Clearview Elementary on Friday, May 10, to share with the students his new book, “At the Firehouse.”
Dawn Kitchell, educational services director at
The Washington Missourian and owner of Neighborhood Reads bookstore, also was on hand.
A native of Philadelphia, Penn., Biggs shared his experiences of living near and visiting a firehouse. He then read the book to the Clearview students in grades kindergarten through third.
