The School District of Washington’s BUILD (Building Unique and Innovative Learners by Design) Academy at Four Rivers Career Center completed its first round of dog houses.
Students from Lindsay Kober’s sixth-grade class at Washington West Elementary spent six weeks in a project based learning environment, teaming with the Four Rivers Career Center team in the Junior Markerspace.
Throughout this process, students learned about marketing, designing, building and selling the dog houses.
A new group of sixth-grade students will now begin a six-week session.
When all of the students go through the process, they will work on marketing and selling the dog houses.
