Clearview Elementary has been awarded gold level recognition for its SW-PBS (Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support) implementation efforts during the 2020-21 school year.
Missouri Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support formally announced the names of 110 Missouri schools who earned the Award of Excellence from SW-PBS for their exemplary implementation of multi-tiered systems of behavioral support during the 2020-21 school year.
Representatives from Clearview accepted the recognition on June 8.
SW-PBS is an evidence-based, proactive approach to teaching and reinforcing positive behavior in students, thereby improving student behavior, creating safe schools, and maximizing instructional time and student engagement.
