Preparing for the 2019-20 school year, registration dates for high school and middle school students in the School District of Washington have been scheduled.
Students will get the opportunity to finalize their enrollment for the upcoming school year and will be given their chromebooks by the District’s technology department.
High school registration takes place in the Nix cafeteria. Please enter through the lower level Nix entrance.
There are three registration dates to choose from. All three are open to students in grades 9-12.
WHS registration dates are:
*Thursday, August 1, from noon to 7 p.m.
*Monday, August 5, from noon to 7 p.m.
*Tuesday, August 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Freshmen Orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 8-11 a.m. at the high school. All freshmen should plan to attend.
Middle school registration takes place August 6 and 7.
*Tuesday, August 6 – Seventh grade from 8:30-11 a.m. (last names A-K) and 12:30-3:30 p.m. (last names L-Z).
*Wednesday, Aug. 7 – Eighth grade from 8:30 a.m. – noon.
Seventh-grade WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) Orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 8 a.m. - noon. All seventh-grade students should plan to attend and meet in the middle school gymnasium. Eighth-grade WEB leaders will serve as mentors to help the seventh-grade students feel confident and comfortable. Large and small group activities are planned for the day, allowing students to get to know one another. Students should wear comfortable clothes. Please do not bring school supplies or backpacks to orientation.
The first day of the 2019-20 school year is Thursday, Aug. 15.
