Students in the CAPS Teaching Careers program have been working on a class fundraiser where they are partnering with businesses in the community who are sponsoring the program by making a donation of anywhere from $50-200.
The Teaching Careers program will then be advertising their sponsors on program shirts.
All donated money will support students competing at the State and National level for Educators Rising.
The State Conference will be held at the University of Missouri on March 4. Fourteen students are competing in different competitions for the national organization Educators Rising, and many are hoping to qualify for this year's national conference in Washington, D.C.
