Observing Red Ribbon Week, a national campaign focusing on drug awareness, South Point Elementary School held an assembly for students in grades 4-6 on Thursday, Oct. 31.
Buildings throughout the School District of Washington are recognizing Red Ribbon Week.
The guest speaker was Ryan Lawyer of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) about the importance of saying no to drugs.
The mission of the DEA is to enforce the controlled substances laws and regulations of the United States.
