Clearview Sixth-Grade Students Work on Project Lead the Way Robotics and Automation Module
Sixth-grade students at Clearview Elementary in Diane Burke’s Project Lead the Way class have begun working on the Robotics and Automation module.
Robotics kits were purchased through WINGS and community business donations.
Students learned there are many different types and categories of robotics. They had to research and present a robot to share with the class.
Last week (February 7-11), students started to learn about the components of the vex kits. They were able to use the design process to create a toy that they would be able to sell to consumers.
This week (February 14-17), students will be diving more into the different components, sensors, and motors that are in the Vex kits so they understand why and how their robots work.
