Washington High School’s dance team, the Jaywalkers, will hold a Fall Dance Clinic on Saturday, Sept. 26, in the Little Blue Jay Gymnasium at WHS from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Check-in begins at 9:15 a.m.
The Mini-Jaywalkers dance clinic is open to students in grades Pre-K through eighth grade. They will learn new dances, chants, correct technique and movements, have fun, and perform with the current Jaywalkers team.
Showing off what they learned at the dance clinic, the Mini-Jaywalkers will perform at the end of the clinic for parents.
If possible, depending on attendance restrictions, the Mini-Jaywalkers also will perform prior to Washington’s home football game on Friday, Oct. 2. Meeting time is 5:45 p.m. in the lobby of the Big Blue Jay Gym with the performance at 6:30 p.m.
The cost is $40 per student, which includes a T-shirt and free admission to the football game. The cost is $35 for girls who attended the Jaywalkers Summer Dance clinic and still have their shirt. Make checks payable to WHS Dance Team.
