Washington West Elementary had a Student Professional Development Day on Friday, Feb. 8.
There were a number of different subject areas that students got to choose from to spend class time with students from other ideas to share projects and ideas.
After sending time in one subject area, the students then moved on to a different subject area, and that was the theme throughout the afternoon.
Some of the many classes offered in the professional development included crafts, cooking, explore new Zealand, sports, sewing, paint and sip, first aid, dog training, STEM challenge, photography, school beautification, computer coding, health/fitness, babysitting and engineering.
