Washington Middle School Leadership Class Holds Mexican Fiesta for Staff

Students in Logan Schamerloh's Leadership class at Washington Middle School provided the staff a Mexican Fiesta for lunch on Wednesday, February 28.

The Leadership students planned and hosted the event to show appreciation to the middle school staff.

Students planned the meal, made invitations, communicated to staff about the event, made decorations to go with the theme of Mexican Fiesta, and welcomed staff as they arrived to the event.

The Leadership class is working on essential skills by planning these types of events, such as time management, teamwork, professional communication, and problem solving.

The Mexican Fiesta was sponsored by Ernesto’s Mexican Restaurant and Erin Metcalf with Main Street Real Estate.
