Washington School of Practical Nursing Students Awarded Scholarships

Practical Nursing ScholarshipsStudents in the Washington School of Practical Nursing program at Four Rivers Career Center recently were awarded scholarships.

Washington School of Practical Nursing is a post-secondary program that focuses on developing a primary degree of skill in performing bedside nursing care. The health field has a constantly increasing need for skilled nurses and offers a vast number of opportunities.

The WSPN program meets Monday through Thursday for a 12--month period. A clinical phase is offered at various off campus training sites to complement theory content.

Katie Rice was the recipient of the 2022 Stacy E. Gildehaus Memorial Scholarship for $1,000, given annually to a student in the Washington School of Practical Nursing program.

Max Martin was the recipient of the Sarah Stoenner Alsop WINGS Memorial Scholarship for $1,000, given annually to a student in the Washington School of Practical Nursing program.

Nydia Jackson was the recipient of the Shana Terschluse Memorial Scholarship for $500, given annually to a student in the Washington School of Practical Nursing program.
