The goal was to collect 1,000 items.
In eight school days, 203 students and their families donated 1,528 food items for St. Peter's UCC Festival of Trees.
All donations will be distributed to food banks around the Washington and Marthasville communities.
The winning class with the most donations had four lucky students chosen to pie Marthasville Elementary Principal Kristen Daffron in the face during a whole school assembly on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
