A spring pep assembly, hosted by the Student Council, was held at Washington High School on Thursday, March 14.
The WHS track and field, baseball, girls soccer and boys golf teams were recognized as their seasons are beginning the 2019 season.
The WHS Color Guard performed, and students running for Student Council President, Alexa Bell and Elise Pruitt, gave speeches to the student body.
With the assembly being held on March 14, commonly known as Pi Day (3.14), math teachers had pies smashed in their faces and heads by students who won drawings.
Serving as master of ceremonies of the pep assembly were Kamryn Mitchell, Anna Schneider and Cameron McElhaney.
