Carter Kleekamp and Mia Reed recently were recognized as the Washington Rotary Students of the Month for Washington High School.
Carter Kleekamp is the son of Glenn and Susan Kleekamp. He’s a senior at Washington High School and is in National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta and is a member of the WHS soccer, basketball and golf teams.
In the classroom, Carter holds a 4.0 grade-point average. Following graduation, he plans to attend the University of Missouri and major in mathematics with an emphasis in actuarial science.
Mia Reed is the daughter of Matthew and Lisa Reed. She’s a senior at Washington High School and is involved with CAPS Global Business and Entrepreneurship and is an all-state athlete in cross country, wrestling and track and field.
In the classroom, Mia holds a 3.96 grade-point average. After graduation, she plans to attend Missouri Baptist University, where she will major in accounting, minor in mathematics, and be a part of the women’s cross country and track and field teams.
Kleekamp and Reed were presented their student of the month plaques by Donna Klott, Washington Rotary Club President.
