Washington High School will hold its Third Annual Color the Campus 3.1K Run/Walk on Friday, May 10, on the WHS campus at 6 p.m.
Proceeds benefit the Al Matzes Memorial Scholarship.
The start and finish line will be at Washington High School.
The course for the timed run and untimed walk will be around the campus of the high school and middle school.
Packet pick up and race day registration takes place from 5:15-5:45 p.m. The run/walk begins at 6 p.m. Wear your best Blue Jay apparel to be eligible for prizes. There will be food and drinks at the finish line for the participants.
Awards and prizes will be given to the top male and female overall finisher, as well as the top three male and females in each age category: 9 and under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and older.
Special prizes will be given to most spirited, most colorful and best Blue Jay pride.
The entry fee, if received by April 26, is $10 for children ages 5 and under, $15 for students ages 6-18, and $20 for adults. The fee is $25 if received after April 26. Participants who register before April 26 will receive a T-shirt. Make checks payable to Washington High School.
