Washington High School Freshman Orientation

Freshman orientation took place at Washington High School on Friday, August 18.

There were approximately 320 students on hand for freshman orientation.

Katie Sandoval, guidance counselor at WHS, served as the master of ceremonies. Guidance staff members also helped with the orientation.

There also were approximately 70 Link Crew members on hand, who are juniors and seniors at WHS, helping with the orientation.

Freshmen were introduced to the high school administrative team, and Principal Dr. Eric Turner spoke to the group.

Freshmen gathered in the Blue Jay Gymnasium for the introduction, games and activities before breaking off into groups to go through the school with Link Crew students.
