Washington High School Academic Challenge Team Places First in District Competition
Washington High School’s ACES (Academic Challenge for Engineering and Science) team recently competed in district competition at East Central College.
Washington finished in first place as a team and will advance to the regional competition March 12th at Missouri S&T in Rolla.
Individual medals for WHS students:
Sarah Simons – First place in Biology and first place in English.
Carter Kleekamp – Second place in Biology.
Ben Griffen – First place in Engineering Graphics and second place in Physics.
Cohen Scheel – First place in Computer Science.
Sam Doepker – Second place in Computer Science.
Noah Little – Second place in Computer Science.
Marcella Lampe – Second place in English.
Elise Thierbach – Third place in English and third place in Mathematics.
Harsh Patel – Second place in Mathematics.
Brandon Titter – Third place in Physics.
