Kylie Alfermann is the Kiwanis Club of Washington’s TERRIFIC Kid of the Month for February.
Members of the Kiwanis Club presented the award to Kylie, a fifth-grade student at Campbellton Elementary, on Thursday, Feb. 27.

Kylie is the daughter of Ryan Alfermann and Elizabeth Kleinheider. Her favorite thing to do in class is writing. Away from school, she enjoys her tumbling class and riding horses. When she grows up, Kylie would like to be a dental hygienist.
Kylie likes being a student at Campbellton Elementary.
“The best part about going to school here is that everyone is really nice,” she said.
Members of the Washington Kiwanis Club presented Kylie with a certificate of achievement along with gift cards to McDonald’s and Neighborhood Reads.
