The Washington High School Choral Department is excited to present its annual Madrigal Dinner, “Zany Little Thing Called Love,” on December 12-14 at The Presbyterian Church of Washington, 4834 South Point Road.
Spectators will step back into the Renaissance Era, where Kings and Queens and the Royal family rule the land and the Jester tries to wow you with his wit.
You will enter a castle and be greeted by students who are dressed in period costumes, speak with British accents and sing music that is authentic to the time period.
The students will serve a three-course meal and delight you with a play filled with comedy.
The students also make Christmas wreathes that will be available to purchase and other items for sale from the townspeople.
They will also close the evening with a short concert for your holiday enjoyment.
The show will run Thursday, Dec. 12, and Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. Another performance will be on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 4 p.m. It will take place at The Presbyterian Church, on South Point Rd., near Kohl's.
It’s recommended you to arrive by 6:30 pm or 3:30 p.m. depending on the night you wish to attend.
Tickets are $25 per person, which includes a three-course meal and entertainment. Be sure to bring extra change to buy additional items and wreaths from the townspeople.
