Guardianship and Conservatorship SummitA Guardianship and Conservatorship Summit, presented by attorney Dan Leslie, will take place at Washington High School on Tuesday, April 9.

Guardianship is the legal process of determining a person’s capacity to make decisions for themselves regarding their personal affairs (such as where they live or the care they require.)

Conservatorship is similar to guardianship, but deals only with financial affairs of an individual. It is not unusual for the powers of guardianship and conservatorship to be vested in the same person.

Doors for the presentation open at 5:45 p.m. The event will take place from 6-7 p.m., which will include time to ask questions. Please check in at the West Wing entrance of the high school.
