Washington Middle School Students Receive Honorary Junior Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Students in Stefanie Virgen’s Introductory to Veterinary Medicine class at Washington Middle School participated in a “Junior Doctor of Veterinary Medicine" Honors Awards program on Tuesday morning, January 11.
Students had to meet several career-focused guidelines throughout the first semester and display excellence in the Veterinary Medicine class, one of Washington Middle School’s area of career interest classes.
The students recognized were Olivia Jensen, Christian Potter, Lilian Kluesner, Ryleigh Rehmeier and Jaelyn Bergin.
The award is granted to students who have met and exceeded standards for growth, career-focus, and critical thinking in Virgen’s introductory to Vet Med classroom.
Students obtain the honor by demonstrating personal growth in all career-focus areas, including critical thinking, research, commitment to clinical rotations, and career skills/soft skills.
